{Erica.jpg} Erica Shoulders-Royster began her career in education as a 1998 Teach For America Eastern North Carolina corps member. She served as a fourth grade teacher at Pinkston Street Elementary School in Vance County. Erica realized her passion for educational equality and joined Teach For America staff as a Program Director. In this role, Erica conducted more than 200 formal classroom observations in 30 different schools throughout an academic year. Erica earned her Masters in School Administration from UNC-Chapel Hill in May 2008.
